Return/Refund policy

General Returns/Exchanges:

  • Products (excluding software) may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase.
  • Returns/exchanges are subject to a 15% restocking fee or a minimum of $10, whichever is greater.
  • Products must be in good condition (e.g., not broken or scratched) for returns/exchanges.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Software Products:

  • Returns or exchanges of software products are not accepted under any circumstances.

Bulk Orders:

  • Items in bulk orders (5 or more in a single order or orders exceeding CA$2,000) are final sales and not eligible for return/refund.

Faulty Products:

  • If a product defect is confirmed, CanadaGPS covers shipping costs for sending repaired or replacement products back to the customer.
  • If no fault is found, shipping costs for the return will be charged to the customer.


Return Procedure:

  1. Initiating a Return:

    • Request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number by emailing .
    • Our support staff will provide the RMA number and return instructions.
    • Clearly mark the RMA number on the package. Returns without an RMA number will be returned to the sender.
  2. Product Condition:

    • Ensure that the returned product includes all original components, literature, and packaging in saleable condition.
  3. Shipping Returns:

    • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
    • Use a carrier with shipment tracking. CanadaGPS is not responsible for shipments without delivery proof.
    • We recommend purchasing freight insurance for shipment protection.


  • Refunds cover the product amount and applicable sales taxes, less the restocking fee.
  • No refund is provided for shipping charges.
  • Damaged merchandise may be subject to a case-by-case restocking fee (up to 100%).

Additional Information:

  • The 14-day return period begins from the delivery date as recorded by the shipping company.
  • Returns due to manufacturing defects require prior authorization. Contact for assistance.
  • If a warranted item is unavailable for repair/replacement, a product exchange will be offered.

Processing Time:

  • Allow up to 15 business days (excluding holidays and weekends) from receipt of your package for processing your return. This does not affect the 14-day return period.
